Media personality, Do2dtun has lashed out at the Bauchi Hisbah over the recent restrictions placed on DJs, event planners, and other forms of entertainment during weddings in Bauchi State.
He slammed the government and Hisbah in a post on X.
Recall that we had reported that the Bauchi State Hisbah Board had earlier announced 16 new regulations to curb what they described as immoral celebrations at weddings and recreational centres.
This includes the banning of cultural displays like Kawayawade, Aloba, DJs, gala nights and all forms of entertainment perceived as promoting indecency.
According to the commission, the move is in response to the rising number of divorces in the state, claiming the “blessing of marriage” is lost at the beginning stage due to unholy practices.
