Two suspected criminals arrested with stolen motorcycles and charms in Niger state community

The Anti-Drugs Consumption and Crime Control Unit (ADC) apprehended two suspected criminals terrorising the Lapai community in Niger State. 

The suspects, identified as Hassan Yahaya (19) and Abdullahi Ismail (20), both natives of Bida Local Government Area of Niger State, were arrested on Wednesday night, June 25, 2025, while attempting to flee the community with two stolen motorcycles. 

Upon interrogation, the duo reportedly confessed to the crime. 

Items recovered from them include two Bajaj motorcycles, a keypad phone, a talisman, several rings, an ATM card, a lighter, a wire earphone, and a nasal inhaler.
