Nollywood actress and producer Regina Chukwu has joined the Nigerian film community in mourning the death of veteran actor Oloto, who recently passed away after a decades-long contribution to the industry.
Taking to Instagram to express her grief, Chukwu paid heartfelt tribute to the late actor, revealing that he had played the role of her father-in-law in her newly released movie Ole. She described him as not only a professional colleague but also a mentor who left a lasting mark on her journey in Nollywood.

“I just got informed that Oloto, who featured in Ole as my father-in-law, has passed on,”she wrote. “He was my boss and a true one at that. It’s a pity. Rest in peace, Oloto.”
Regina went on to share personal memories of the late thespian, appreciating his guidance during her early days in the industry. According to her, Oloto once advised her to pursue makeup artistry on film sets while awaiting her big break. She also credited him for connecting her to the late comic actor Sisi Quadri, under whom she honed her skills.
