Tar1q announces ‘Jigga’ Africa tour

Fast-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tar1q, is set to hit the road this September with his much-anticipated Jigga Africa Tour.

The young star revealed the news on Monday, September 1, 2025, confirming that he’ll be performing across five African countries.

The tour, which takes its name from his breakout track Jigga featuring Khaid, will see Tar1q bring his vibrant Afro-Rhythm sound to fans in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Kenya, and South Africa. Known for his heartfelt storytelling and seamless blend of Afrobeats, Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B, the singer’s latest move marks an exciting new chapter in his career.

The official announcement came in a video rollout, where Tar1q shared the tour dates and cities. The journey begins in Accra, Ghana on September 8, 2025, moves to Abidjan, Ivory Coast on September 9, and then continues to Freetown, Sierra Leone on September 14. Later in the month, he heads east to Nairobi, Kenya on September 27, before wrapping things up in Johannesburg, South Africa on October 1, 2025.

The tour follows a string of recent successes for Tar1q, including his single Coco Rico and the release of his album Okada Airlines, which further cemented his reputation as one of the new voices to watch in African music.
