Cardi B accused of assaulting female security guard during 2018 brawl at doctor’s office

Rapper Cardi B is back in the headlines after allegations resurfaced in court on Monday, with a female security guard testifying that the Grammy winner assaulted her during a heated encounter at a Los Angeles doctor’s office back in 2018.

According to the guard, Emani Ellis, Cardi — who was four months pregnant at the time — allegedly spat on her, hurled racial slurs, body-shamed her, and even left her with a cut on her cheek from her fingernail.

Page Six reported Ellis claimed she had simply approached the rapper with her phone while working at the obstetrician’s office, but Cardi became furious, believing Ellis was trying to expose her private visit.

“After she heard me say her name, she turned back around and the first thing out of her mouth was … ‘Why the f–k you telling people that you see me?,’” Ellis testified, adding that she tried to calm the rapper down but was met with more aggression.

The security guard alleged Cardi also threatened to get her fired, belittled her job, and even attempted to take a swing at her — though she missed. Ellis claimed she later required plastic surgery for the facial cut caused by Cardi’s nails.

She is now suing Cardi B for assault and battery over the incident.

Cardi’s team has not yet responded to the allegations.
