Famous social media activist Vincent Otse Martins, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has released a fresh diss track aimed at street-hop singer Portable, further intensifying their ongoing war of words.
It all began after Portable went on a rant, accusing VeryDarkMan of chasing clout by interfering in the case of the late singer Mohbad. In response, VeryDarkMan released an old video showing Portable being beaten and accused of stealing a phone and a tricycle.
Portable, however, reacted to the claims, stating that those who accused him were the same people who gave him the phone.
Things then took a turn as VeryDarkMan decided to respond through music by recording a diss track titled Ole, aimed directly at Portable. The track, produced by Jimoh Waxiu, features MonstarBoi, an up-and-coming artiste.
In retaliation, Portable responded with a diss track of his own titled Oromoadiye, where he launched personal attacks on VeryDarkMan and took aim at members of his family—further deepening the feud.
In his latest move, VeryDarkMan posted another diss track on Instagram on Thursday, delivering sharp lines in multiple languages while referencing Portable’s legal troubles and past controversies. He also incorporated clips of Portable’s police incidents and other controversial moments into the visuals of the track.
In the caption accompanying the release, VeryDarkMan suggested this might be his final reply, claiming the singer had been “crying” over the verbal attacks.
He wrote: “ZAZOO FT ALL MY GEES
PROD: @iamjimohwaxiu
MY GEES WILL BE OUT ON AUDIO MACK AT 3:30pm, link will be on my instagram story after this I will leave him alone since he is already crying
VIDEO DIRECTED AND SHOT BY ME”
The video also served as a tribute to his close allies, as VeryDarkMan extended appreciation to supporters including influencer Jojo of Lele, music executive Don Jazzy, Dkokopee, DJ Big N, and his brother.
