Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of confirming another forward as their second summer signing.

Manchester United are rumoured to be close to confirming the signing of an 18-year-old forward on a free transfer.

The teenager’s contract with French club Le Havre is due to expire at the end of this month, and his departure from the Ligue 1 outfit has already been confirmed.

A number of clubs were believed to be tracking this promising forward; however, United quickly emerged as the favourites for his signature, with the teenager reportedly travelling to Manchester in late April to agree terms.

Youth talent boost

According to Manchester Evening News, the Old Trafford club are now on the verge of officially confirming Enzo Kana-Biyik as their second confirmed summer acquisition.

The arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers was announceed on Thursday, and Ruben Amorim’s attacking options are expected to be further strengthened by Kana-Biyik’s addition on a long-term contract.

The report states that despite suggestions that INEOS-owned FC Lausanne-Sport could secure Kana-Biyik on loan for the 2025-26 campaign, such plans have not been agreed at this stage.

The attacker showcased his potential at youth level, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 16 appearances for Le Havre’s Under-19 team.

The teenager is widely considered one of the most promising young talents in French football.

Have Man Utd made any signings?

The Red Devils have already confirmed the arrival of Cunha, and the Manchester giants, linked with Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, are still expected to be busy during the summer window, as sales and arrivals are anticipated at Old Trafford
