Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Special Duties and Ibom Deep Seaport, Ini Ememobong, resigned from his position on June 6, 2025, following Governor Umo Eno’s defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
