Victor Osimhen’s discipline and quality against top opposition have been called into question as his future remains unresolved.
Telegol commentator Gökmen Özdenak said that Victor Osimhen has become spoiled, and he believes that the Nigerian only shines because he plays against inferior defenders in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 26-year-old led Galatasaray to a league and cup double while winning the Golden Boot, a feat that has earned him plaudits. However, his future remains unresolved.
Ozdenek has a different opinion on the Nigerian, however, tagging him as undisciplined. He argued that Osimhen was a liability and would struggle in a league with more capable defenders than those available in the Super Lig.
What Ozdenak said
“Osimhen started to get spoiled after seeing the love at Galatasaray,” Ozdenak said. “In the Turkish League, he scores goals in the positions that come to him like a delight. Defenders cannot hold him.

“He cannot play so comfortably in any league in Europe, and he cannot earn the money he wants. If he continues to stay at Galatasaray, he will leave his team with 10 men in the Champions League. He is very angry and can suddenly get a red card. He needs to be disciplined a little.
“If Osimhen was so good, why did Antonio Conte, who made Napoli champions, send him? Maybe he will fight with Okan Buruk tomorrow or the next day. If you give this man 75 million Euros and delay the salaries of his teammates, gangrene may occur.”
